The newly built Siem Reap Angkor International Airport is 40 kilometers away from Angkor Wat and 51 kilometers away from Siem Reap downtown, covering an area of 700 hectares. According to the overall project plan, the terminal area is 81,800 square meters; the passenger throughput is 7 million passengers/ The cargo throughput is 10,000 tons; the flight zone level is 4E; the runway is 3,600 meters long and 45 meters wide; a total of 38 aircraft positions are set up on the apron. The design and construction standard of the airport is 4E level, including the new 4E level runway, taxiway, airside apron, new terminal building, airport ancillary works, and supporting facilities such as municipal and road projects. It is expected to be completed in three years, and it will become an International standard airport.
