In 2012, the Group's Myanmar Regional Management Department was formally established to fully support the Group's projects in Myanmar such as the China-Myanmar Crude Oil Pipeline Project (Myanmar Section) Made Island and Xinkangdan Project. In 2010, Yunnan Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. established offices in Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar. In 2008, Yunnan Construction Engineering registered and established a tripartite joint venture company, Yunnan Construction Engineering Equatorial Guinea Construction Company, in Malabo, the capital of Equatorial Guinea, to enter the Equatorial Guinea market.
In September 2007, Yunnan China Construction Engineering Company (Overseas) completed the reform and restructuring by integrating internal resources, and formally established the International Engineering Department of Yunnan Construction Engineering Group Corporation.
In 1998, approved by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of the People's Republic of China, Yunnan Construction Engineering Group Corporation obtained the "Expatriate Labor Service Personnel License". In the same year, an office was set up in Vientiane, Laos to enter the Lao market.
In 1993, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation approved Yunnan Construction Engineering Group Corporation to enjoy the foreign economic right to carry out foreign economic and technological cooperation business.
In 1983, Yunnan Construction Engineering Group Corporation set up China State Construction Engineering Corporation Yunnan Branch (the predecessor of Yunnan China Construction Engineering Corporation), which mainly contracted foreign projects.
