The 3 million tons/year refining and chemical project of Lao Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is an early harvest project of the China-Laos Community of Shared Future Action Plan. The project plans to build Laos' first modern oil refinery project with an annual output of 3 million tons in three phases. The first-phase project has a comprehensive processing capacity of 1 million tons per year, which can produce gasoline, diesel, aviation kerosene, liquefied petroleum gas, industrial sulfur and other products that meet the Euro V standard. After the first phase of the project is completed and put into production, the second and third phases of project construction will be gradually launched. Among them, the second phase project will be expanded to 2 million tons/year, mainly producing biofuel products, including ethanol gasoline and biodiesel; the third phase project Will expand to 3 million tons / year, mainly producing chemical products.
