The international engineering department is an important carrier and platform for the group to implement the "going out" strategy of the overseas sector. On behalf of the group, it independently develops overseas markets, deeply integrates and serves the development strategies of the country and Yunnan Province, and creates a new development pattern in which domestic and international cycles promote each other. Actively implement the international development strategy of the group, plan the internal resources of the group, give full play to the leading role of the group in "going out", and strive to build an integrated development pattern of "investment, construction and operation". Continue to strengthen and optimize the international project contracting business, help the group's high-quality development, continue to improve the group's international influence, and create the brand of "Yunnan construction investment".

Since 1983, the international engineering department has entered more than 20 countries in Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, Africa and other places on behalf of the group, contracted more than 100 overseas projects, and formed a "near, medium and far" market layout. The overseas market layout has been further deepened, and good cooperative relations have been established with the governments of Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Benin and other countries. More than 20 overseas resident offices have been set up, and four overseas business representative offices of the provincial government in Vientiane, Laos, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, New Delhi, India and Cotonou, Benin have been undertaken. The group's social influence and recognition abroad have increased significantly.
